POST /v1/register. Required url: public HTTPS on port 443, no credentials. Optional HTML CSS selector, ignore_selectors (up to 20), JSON ignore_json_paths (up to 20), and explicitly selected HTML attributes. The canonical URL plus rules identify a watch. Repeating the same registration reuses its existing ID and hash without refreshing it. Changing rules creates a separate watch.

fresh402_check · Compare normalized hashes; reuse a watch or check a URL. Conditional HTTP revalidation and bounded cache age avoid unnecessary transfers.
POST /v1/check. Supply exactly one of url or watch_id. URL-based Check can create a watch without separate registration. With watch_id, omit selector and all new rules, including empty arrays: the saved rules are reused. Optional previous_hash compares a retained observation; max_age_seconds allows bounded cache reuse (default 0); include_diff defaults true. Use the schema for exact bounds.

fresh402_extract · Fetch public HTML, JSON or text. Select HTML scope or exact JSON Pointers; return bounded text, links and structured data.
POST /v2/extract. Required URL, no watch. Optional HTML selector and exclusions, json_pointer or json_pointers (mutually exclusive), bounded max_chars (default 20,000; up to 50,000), include_links and include_structured_data (both default true). JSON pointers select exact RFC6901 fields, not wildcard queries; missing selections fail rather than silently return partial fields.

Smart Diff · $0.015 / 4 credits
fresh402_smart_diff · Compare a saved watch against previous, baseline or a retained hash. Structural JSON and HTML modes report supported changes.
POST /v2/smart-diff. Required watch_id. compare_to accepts previous (default) or baseline. Optional previous_hash overrides either mode; hash is not an input mode. On first use, compatible saved watch content seeds the baseline. Optional explicit json_array_keys rules match unique typed item keys; they are not guessed. Ambiguous keys fail without an index fallback. HTML attributes require a watch registered with those rules.

fresh402_openapi_contract_diff · Compare public JSON OpenAPI 3.0/3.1 documents. Classify supported changes without fetching references or running API operations.
POST /v2/openapi-contract-diff. Register an unfiltered public JSON OpenAPI 3.0/3.1 document first. Required watch_id; compare_to is previous (default) or baseline. Optional previous_hash overrides comparison mode. YAML, selector/ignore rules, external $ref fetching and runtime API testing are unsupported. Contract documents and comparison work are bounded; see live schema and limits.

Shared fetch limits
Public HTTPS only; redirects are revalidated; private/reserved addresses and Fresh402's own service URLs are rejected. The secure gateway pins the actual public peer and validates TLS hostname. Responses are bounded to 5 MB decoded; no JavaScript rendering, cookies, authenticated crawling or anti-bot bypass. Comparisons are based on fetched, normalized content and bounded retained history.
On-chain Intelligence · Bounded commercial pilot
Bounded commercial pilot on Base mainnet. x402 and native MPP are available at the quoted per-call prices. Blockchain prepaid requires eligible finalized all-service credits or an original accepted service-specific tariff4 grant; existing Web packages do not automatically include it. New all-service purchases require explicit terms acceptance at /v3/prepaid/all-services. Human Web trials do not cover blockchain; the separate machine trial may admit one bounded observation within its shared18RPC/day cap. Finalized single-provider observations only, with finite shared daily capacity; no trading, safety score or complete history.
Contract Watch · $0.010 / 4 eligible credits
fresh402_contract_watch · POST /v3/contract-watch. Require chain_id:8453 and a checksummed address. block defaults to finalized. Optionally compare an owned saved previous_snapshot; select at most one storage slot, one supported zero-argument view/pure ABI read and one topic0. No inferred storage layout or verified-source guarantee.
Wallet Watch · $0.020 / 8 eligible credits
fresh402_wallet_watch · POST /v3/wallet-watch. Require chain_id, address and one to four ERC-20 contract addresses in tokens. A page covers at most four finalized blocks. Omit from_block for the last four finalized blocks. An owned cursor resumes a prior saved page; cursor and from_block are mutually exclusive. Gaps beyond 32 blocks fail without silently skipping data. Not full native, internal or NFT history.
Token Facts · $0.010 / 4 eligible credits
fresh402_token_facts · POST /v3/token-facts. Require chain_id and address. Returns bounded contract-reported identity, metadata, supply and selected controls. Missing, deceptive or unsupported evidence remains unknown/not_assessed; never infer token safety or absence of privileges.

Each new logical page/observation is a paid operation; replay the original proof/input/recovery token for a retained result without new RPC. Snapshot/cursor scope is bound to payer or prepaid account, address, provider and policy. Retained observation records expire after 30 days; private financial recovery is retained for seven days. Never use IDs until their saved flags are true.
